| The Organising Committee is pleased to invite mining executives, professionals and technicians who are involved in the management of mechanical, electrical and instrumentation maintenance of equipment used in concentration plants, hydrometallurgical plants and mining smelters to participate in the VII Mining Plant Maintenance Meeting - MAPLA 2010, to take place from 1 - 3 September 2010 at the Sheraton Hotel and Convention Center in Santiago, Chile. |
| OBJECTIVES |
| MAPLA 2010 is organised to provide a forum where mining maintenance professionals, operators, researchers and suppliers may exchange experiences and discuss recent innovations in plant maintenance, asset management and mining smelters.
The objectives of the meeting are summarised as follows:
- Promote the exchange of knowledge and experiences in the design, management, maintenance engineering and advance techniques related to the maintenance equipment used in concentration plants, hydrometallurgical plants and mining smelters.
- Identify and analyse best maintenance practices as well as the technologies and procedures on how to achieve them.
- Generate a collaborative network of support and technical exchange among maintenance professionals in benefit of the industry and its members.
